1. Booking Inquiries & Permit Allocation
Submitting a booking inquiry through Jeepsafarirajaji.co.in constitutes a request for safari coordination and permit processing. All park entry permits and vehicle entry allowances are issued exclusively by the Uttarakhand Forest Department subject to seasonal quotas. A safari is confirmed only after formal permit clearance and payment of applicable statutory gate and vehicle fees.
2. Identity Proof Mandatory at Gate
Every guest named on the safari permit must carry their original government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) to the designated entry gate. For foreign nationals, an original Passport and valid Indian Visa are mandatory. Discrepancies between the ID presented and permit records will lead to entry refusal by Forest Department officials.
3. Vehicle Capacity Regulations
Under forest conservation and visitor safety norms, a maximum of six (6) guests (adults or children) are permitted per open 4x4 Maruti Gypsy. In addition, an authorized Forest Department registered nature guide and driver will accompany the vehicle. Overcrowding is strictly impermissible by law.
4. Park Rules & Visitor Conduct
All visitors must strictly adhere to park etiquette and forest guidelines:
- Disembarking from the safari vehicle inside the forest trails is strictly forbidden except at designated watchtowers and check-posts.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, carrying firearms, and littering (especially plastic items) are illegal inside the reserve.
- Maintaining silence and wearing nature-toned clothing (khaki, olive green, brown) is required.
- Using drone cameras or artificial flashlights is strictly prohibited inside the tiger reserve.
5. Force Majeure & Park Closures
The Uttarakhand Forest Department reserves the statutory right to close safari gates or alter safari routes without prior notice due to inclement weather, flash flooding in riverbeds (raus), forest management operations, or high-level VIP movements. Jeep Safari Rajaji shall not be held liable for unforeseen forest closures dictated by government authorities.
